|The figure crept towards you, shaking with fear you ran as fast as your legs could take you. But nothing could defeat the red eyed monster. "Leave me a-alone.. p-please" you shuddered. It got closer. You could see its hard blue-like skin appearing from the fog. Its red eyes scanned your body and said "Such a delightful young maiden" It then smirked and shouted with an almighty roar "WAKE UP AND PAY ATTENTION!"|

Your head shot up and you now saw a room filled with giggling teenagers. "Miss (Y/N) how many times do I have to tell you?! You cannot fall asleep in MY lessons!" A plump brown haired woman was now looking at you, rage filling her eyes. "I-Im so s-sorry miss!". 'Falling asleep in class again?!' you thought. "I shall have to call your parents!" eyes widening and body shaking all you could do was sit there and accept what had just been said.

You where used to beatings from your parents, but you knew that today might be your last. Turning the door handle of the old rundown flat known to you as 'home', you noticed a smashed phone in the hallway. 'Oh god...' you thought. Suddenly a large object hit you in the back of your neck. Falling forwards onto the musty carpet a large hand gripped you by the hem of your collar. "HOW DARE YOU EMBARRASS ME!". It was your mother. Frantically she scraped her nails down your face. Blood dripped from your fresh cut. "Stop." hardly any sound came from your mouth after being winded by a punch in a chest. "YOU WORTHLESS CHILD!" She screamed at you. Over and over she kicked your face. There was no point in screaming or even calling for help. Because soon everything would be over.

No pain.

Just peace.

Suddenly a light formed in-front of your eyes.

Then a hand

A scream

A friend.
